Frequently Asked Questions
How much are lessons?
Tuition is a flat fee of $145 per month for weekly lessons. There is also a one time $35 Registration fee. Because we guarantee 48 lessons per year and arrange our schedule to ensure all days (every Mon, Tue, etc) receive 48 lessons. The total cost of these 48 lessons is divided by 12 to make a flat fee possible. Some months will have 5 lessons and some months (like December) will have 2 lessons and Recitals the 3rd week.
Can I take 1 hour lessons?
Yes! To take 1 consecutive hour of the same instrument, or 30min of one and 30min of another instrument is $268. Our beginning piano lessons are all 1hr group lessons until the student is ready to advance into private lessons.
Are there Recitals?
There are two formal Recitals and two non-formal Recital opportunities each year for all students. Every 3 months you will be able to watch your musician with pride! We also have Teacher Showcases for our students to be entertained by their teachers. Students have the opportunity to audition for these and our Annual Socials.
What if I miss a lesson, do you offer make ups?
As soon as you discover you will miss your lesson, you will want cancel it through your account online. We can only offer make up lessons when you give us 24 or more hours notice. These are unlimited. However, if your teacher is here prepared and waiting for you, the tuition that you paid will be used to pay them for their time. In this instance, you are welcome to pay $35 to schedule a lesson with your teacher in the same week.
What ages do you teach?
KiddyKeys Preschool is for children 3.5-5 years old. All other group and private lessons are for anyone 5+
Is there a discount for multiple lessons?
Yes! There is a 10% discount on 3 or more lessons
Can I change my schedule online?
Yes! We love convenience and offer a family portal where all lesson cancellations are done. You can even view (and register in) lesson openings to reschedule, see upcoming Studio events and all of your students performing opportunities
Where do I get lesson books?
We carry a full inventory of all needed curriculum and repertoire
How do I withdraw?
In your Welcome email we attach our withdrawal form, or you may ask our office staff for one at any time. You will want to complete this by the 15th of your last month.
